A woman crossing Main Street in Westminster Thursday was struck by a turning vehicle, according to the Westminster Police Department. She was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

A woman was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Main Street and Railroad Avenue shortly before 11 a.m. Thursday, according to the Westminster Police Department.
The woman was crossing Railroad Avenue when she was "clipped" by a vehicle turning left off of Main Street onto Railroad Avenue, according to PFC Al Bullington.
Bullington said the woman was alert and conscious at the scene, but was complaining about leg pain.
She was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
The incident was reported at 10:57 a.m.
