The New Windsor State Bank on Main Street in New Windsor has been robbed for the second time in a week, according to a news release from the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.

Police were called to the bank for the report of a robbery just before 10 a.m. Monday, according to release.

Police said a white male, about 60 years old, entered the bank and handed a note to a teller demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect left the bank on foot traveling south on Main Street.

Police described the suspect as 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a camouflage jacket, blue jeans, sunglasses, and a baseball cap.

The Sheriff's Office investigation continues.

The New Windsor bank was also robbed Sept. 18 when a white female also handed a teller a note demanding money, police said.

Police described the woman as about 35, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 230 to 250 pounds.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect left the bank on foot, traveling south on Main Street, police said.

Police have not yet made in arrest in the Sept. 18 robbery, according to Cpl. Jonathan Light.
