Carroll County Republican Delegates Justin Ready and Susan Krebs have been named to leadership positions within the House Republican Caucus for the 2014 legislative session.
The House Republican Caucus announced in a press release Monday that House Minority Leader Nic Kipke, a Pasadena Republican, and House Minority Whip Kathy Szeliga, a Perry Hall Republican, have appointed Ready as Chief Deputy Minority Whip and Krebs as a Deputy Minority Whip.
"I am honored to serve as Chief Deputy Whip for Maryland's House Republican Caucus. Together we'll keep working tirelessly to bring fiscal sanity and lower taxes to Maryland," Ready said in a statement.
"It is an honor to be named a Deputy Minority Whip by my peers in the House Republican Caucus," Krebs said in a statement. "I look forward to working with my colleagues to protect taxpayers and enact real solutions to our state's challenges."Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
