Suspects from a reported home invasion in Taneytown early Tuesday morning are still at large, according to Taneytown Police Chief Bill Tyler.
Three suspects armed with "several different types of weapons" broke into a home in the 200 block of Roth Avenue about 2 a.m., according to Tyler.
No injuries were reported and nothing was taken from the house before the suspects fled on foot, he said.
The Taneytown Police Department and Maryland State Police are investigating the incident.
Tyler said police are still determining why this home was the target.
"We're still trying to pick up more information on that," he said. "That's where our investigation is focused on."Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
