Looking to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Carroll? We've got you covered.

To help you find that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, or workweek, we've brought together this collection of St. Patrick's Day events and celebrations taking place in Carroll on Friday, March 17.


For a women-centric St. Patrick's Day celebration, visit Meltdown DIY Art Studio, 1708 Liberty Road, from 6 to 10 p.m. for their Lucky to be a Lady event. Enjoy free glitter shamrock tattoos and take part in a deal on any St. Patrick's Day themed design or project $25 or more.


•Greenmount Station, 1631 N. Main St., is hosting a trio of performers for their St. Patrick's Day celebration, Magic, Music and Irish Merriment. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. and features bawdy stand up by Brett the Irish Com'Mc, music by Brett Kekauoha and magic by Dave Thomen. Tickets are $20. For more information, call 410-812-9669.

•Enjoy a St. Patrick's Day Party at Old Town Grill, 832 Main St., from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Listen to live music by Mike Daddario while eating Irish favorites including corned beef and cabbage, Guinness lamb stew, boiled red potatoes and more.

Mount Airy

•Celebrate St. Patrick's Day starting at 3 p.m. at The Greene Turtle, 1604 Ridgeside Drive. They will host a DJ from 3 to 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. until close with Greene games starting at 3 p.m.

•Memories House, 400 E. Ridgeville Blvd., will keep the St. Patrick's celebration going all weekend long, with specials on special Irish dishes from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.


•Baldwin's Station, 7618 Main St., will feature a special St. Patrick's Day menu with an Irish creamy potato soup, fried Irish shrimp, Irish oysters as well as corned beef and cabbage, Guinness fish and chips, bangers and mash, and shepherd's pie. At 6 and 8 p.m., the restaurant will feature a complimentary Irish whiskey tasting.

•Enjoy live bagpiping while taking in food and drinks at E.W. Beck's Pub's St. Patrick's Day celebration from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. The restaurant will feature food specials including corned beef and cabbage, Guinness shepherd's pie, and bangers and mash. Irish-themed drinks will also be available for specialty prices.


•Those who want an Irish lunch should hit up Benjamin's Krider's United Church of Christ, 208 Krider's Church Road, for their annual fundraiser. Dishes will be available for purchase between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and include Irish potato soup, split pea soup with ham or chicken noodle soup; shepherd's pie; an orchard chicken salad; and a triple grilled cheese.

•The Greene Turtle, 830 Market St., will be ready for those looking to start their St. Patrick's Day celebrations early with two-for-one drinks offered from 3 to 6 p.m. They will host a DJ from 3 to 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. until close with Greene games starting at 3 p.m.

•Serpent Ridge Vineyard, 2962 Nicodemus Road, will host their St. Patrick's Day Happy Hour from 5 to 8 p.m. at the winery. In addition to their normal offerings, Serpent Ridge will feature $5 green wine-a-rita specials as well as discounts on their green-bottled Vidal Blanc to drink at the winery. Reservations are not required.

•Vanessa's Corner Pub, 2600 Liberty Road, will host a celebration featuring music by DJ Matt, classic Irish dishes like corned beef and cabbage, shepherd's pie, and potato and leek soup as well as giveaways and drink deals throughout the evening.

•Enjoy a St. Patrick's Day buffet at the Westminster Elks Lodge #2277, 538 Gorsuch Road, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. The event will feature corned beef, cabbage, carved ham, chicken pot pie, baby red potatoes, green beans, salad bar and baked apples. Reservations can be made by calling 410-848-2277.
