A vehicle crashed into a house in Taneytown on Tuesday evening, and although there were initial fears that someone was trapped, it was later confirmed no one was injured.

Emergency medical responders from the Taneytown fire company responded to the call of a car into a house with entrapment on the 400 block of Berry Court at about 8 p.m. But, "As soon as the ambulance was on the scene they could see there was no entrapment," said Taneytown fire company Public Information Officer Thomas Hogg.

Hogg said there were no injuries and that as of about 8:30 Tuesday evening, fire officials were waiting on the arrival of a building inspector to ensure the home was safe for the occupants.
