Carroll County Public School officials decided to close schools Tuesday morning after announcing Monday night that schools would open two hours late.
Carroll Community College and the Mount Airy College Center will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday, while McDaniel College is opening on time.
County schools, Carroll Community College and McDaniel College were closed Monday because of the snowstorm.
Carroll County government also shut down for the day after initially saying offices would open at 10 a.m. Monday.
It was the 10th day this year that schools were closed because of weather.
Liberal leave was in effect for 12-month employees.
Carroll Area Transit Services (CATS), and all Carroll County Public Library branches were also closed because of the snowstorm.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
