Rep. Chris Van Hollen will celebrate the grand opening of his Mount Airy satellite office with a meet and greet for constituents tonight at 6 p.m.

Van Hollen, a Democrat, represents the state's 8th Congressional District, which includes portions of Carroll, Frederick and Montgomery counties. Westminster, Mount Airy, Sykesville, and Eldersburg are now included in Van Hollen's district after the 2011 redistricting map was approved by voters through referendum in 2012.

The congressman's district office handles constituent services, such as issues dealing with federal agencies.

The new office is at 205 Center Street in Mount Airy, suite 206. The grand opening is scheduled from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
