A four-vehicle accident on Liberty Road Friday morning sent one person to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center as a precautionary measure, according to the Maryland State Police.
Sgt. Frank Quisay said four vehicles were involved in the accident, including one Jeep, two Ford trucks and a Subaru.
He said there were no serious injuries and the person flown to Maryland Shock Trauma was precautionary.
The accident, which happened in front of the Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department in Sykesville, was reported at 8:40 a.m.
