Forecast: Cloudy, high 76, chance of morning showers

The National Weather Service was calling for Tuesday to be cloudy in the Baltimore area, with a high near 76 degrees and southwest winds around 7 miles per hour. There is a 60 percent chance of showers, mainly before noon.

A coastal flood advisory is in effect through Tuesday afternoon for the tidal Potomac River and the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay.

Tuesday night was expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 64 and south winds up to 6 miles per hour.

Wednesday was expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 78 and winds becoming southerly between 6 and 9 miles per hour. There is a 40 percent chance of showers.

Wednesday night was expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 70 and south winds of 3 to 6 miles per hour. There is a 50 percent chance of showers.
