The Harford County Fire and EMS Department reported on Thursday morning a vehicle collision with injury involving a school bus and said no children were on the bus at the time.
Officials said the incident occurred at Route 40 and Route 7 around 8 a.m. and said there were four injuries. Officials also said there was "severe backup" in the area.
Elsewhere in morning traffic, southbound lanes MD 170 in Linthicum are closed from School Lane to Bennett Place due to emergency roadwork at 5:49 a.m, according to the state Department of Transportation. The northbound traffic lane is bi-directional, DOT said.
A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 South in Baltimore City past the Baltimore Washington Parkway exit has closed two southbound traffic lanes and the southbound right shoulder at 8:50 a.m., DOT said.
And the transportation department reported a three-vehicle collision on I-97 South in South Gate at the MD 100 exit that has closed the southbound right shoulder at 8:46 a.m.
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation reported a disabled vehicle on the left lane of the southbound Jones Falls Expressway between Cold Spring Lane and the 41st Street Bridge at 9:01 a.m. Traffic impact is moderate, DOT said.
The Maryland Transit Administration reported minor light rail delays at 9:13 a.m.
