The Baltimore County Department of Public Safety on Thursday morning reported an accident involving an SUV that crashed into the Drumcastle Government Center on York Road in Towson.

Officials said there were no major injuries and no one has been transported to the hospital but medics are on the scene assessing one person for injuries. York Road is shut down between Gittings Avenue and Regester Avenue, and motorists should expect delays.

Emergency roadwork on northbound Loch Raven Boulevard in Towson at Mussula Road has closed the northbound left traffic lane at 8:52 a.m., DOT said.

All lanes are open on the outer loop of Interstate 695 in Towson with the clearing of a five-vehicle collision at the MD 45 (York Road) exit, according to DOT.

And the transportation department said that two toll plaza lanes on the southbound Fort McHenry Tunnel in Baltimore City remain closed more than two weeks due to emergency roadwork following a two-vehicle collision. Southbound lanes 18-19 are shut down due to the July 15 incident, DOT said.

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation said that Greenmount Avenue is closed in both directions at 25th Street due to a fire at 26th Street at 6:50 a.m. Traffic impact is moderate, DOT said.

The Maryland Transit Administration reported minor MARC train delays at 9:12 a.m.
