Traffic: All traffic closed at MD 178 in Crownsville

All traffic is shut down on MD 178 in Crownsville due to a single-vehicle crash at Paul Birch Drive at 7:50 a.m. on Monday, according to the state Department of Transportation.

A collision on Interstate 97 South in Crownsville at MD 178 has closed the southbound right off-ramp lane and southbound right shoulder at 9:09 a.m., DOT said.

Emergency roadwork on southbound Harford Road in Parkville at Putty Hill Avenue has closed the southbound right traffic lane and southbound right shoulder at 9:02 a.m., DOT said.

DOT also said on Monday that two toll plaza lanes on the southbound Fort McHenry Tunnel in Baltimore City remain closed for nearly a week after a two-vehicle collision. Southbound lanes 18-19 are shut down due to the Tuesday afternoon accident, DOT said.

And the transportation department reported a collision on the outer loop of I-695 in Pikesville at Reisterstown Road and debris on the southbound Baltimore Washington Parkway in Linthicum at the Baltimore Beltway. No additional information was given.

The Maryland Transit Administration reported at 9:14 a.m. that trains, buses and mobility vehicles are running on schedule.
