Traffic: Emergency roadwork on MD 147

Emergency roadwork on MD 147 South in Parkville at Putty Hill Avenue has closed the southbound right traffic lane and southbound right exit at 8:48 a.m. on Thursday, according to the state Department of Transportation.

A two-vehicle collision in Interstate 95 South in White Marsh at the MD 43 (White Marsh Boulevard) exit has closed the southbound left shoulder at 8:37 a.m. on Thursday, according to DOT.

DOT also reported a collision on I-95 North in Baltimore City at the Washington Boulevard exit at 8:35 a.m. No additional information was given.

Early morning emergency roadwork on MD 45 in Timonium has closed the highway between Evans Avenue and Fox Tail Road for more than five hours, according DOT.

The center turn lanes on MD 45 are bi-directional, said DOT, which first reported the incident at 3:18 a.m.

And DOT reported that two southbound lanes at the Fort McHenry Tunnel toll plaza in Baltimore City remain closed on Thursday morning due to a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday evening.

Artscape officials said that several downtown Baltimore streets will be closed for the weekend event.

Charles Street will be closed from Preston Street to North Avenue. Lanvale Street will be closed in both directions from Maryland Avenue to Lovegrove Street. Lafayette Avenue will be closed from Maryland Avenue to St. Paul Street. Curb sides will be closed at East Preston Street from Charles to Lovegrove streets and Lanvale Street from Rutter Street to Mount Royal Avenue.

The Maryland Transit Administration said that for the first time, DC-area residents can travel to the event via the MARC Train Penn Line's weekend service.

MTA reported at 9:03 a.m. that trains, buses and mobility vehicles are running on schedule.
