Motorists traveling to Queen Anne's County on Wednesday should note that state transportation officials have reported an early morning crash that has shut down all southbound traffic on U.S. 301.
At 4 a.m., the state Department of Transportation reported a collision on U.S. 301 South in Queen Anne's County, just south of MD 44, that closed all southbound traffic.
The State Highway Administration encouraged motorists to detour westbound on MD 291 to southbound MD 290 to southbound U.S. 301.
Locally, DOT reported debris on the inner loop of Interstate 695 in Arbutus at the I-95 exit at 9:09 a.m. No additional information was given.
