All lanes are closed on southbound U.S. 1 Alternate in Arbutus from Selma Avenue to Halethorpe Farms Road due to emergency roadwork at 7:38 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The northbound left traffic lane has been reversed, DOT said.
Emergency roadwork in Baltimore County on MD 26 West at Rolling Road that began on Tuesday continued through Wednesday morning, DOT said. The center turn lane is bidirectional, DOT said.
The Annapolis Police at 7:11 a.m. cautioned motorists to avoid the Eastport Bridge to enter the downtown area. Police said also that Compromise Street and Dock Street have been shut down due to flooding. City of Annapolis officials said that Newman Street is also closed due to flooding.
