Emergency roadwork on northbound Loch Raven Boulevard in Baltimore County that began Thursday continued on Friday morning, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The roadwork has closed the northbound left traffic lane and northbound left shoulder between Joan Avenue and White Oak Avenue, DOT said.

Beginning at 2 p.m., eastbound Tufton Avenue traffic will be diverted onto southbound Dover Road, and westbound Tufton Road traffic will be stopped intermittently, allowing race goers to cross Tufton Avenue on foot, police said.
From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., police said, portions of the following roads will be closed: Worthington Avenue, Tufton Avenue, Belmont Avenue, Butler Road, Mantua Mill Road, Geist Road, Dover Road, Tufton Ridge Road, Falls Road and Knox Road.
Police said signs noting parking restrictions will be posted the night before the race and said traffic is expected to return to normal by 6 p.m.
