Traffic: Roadwork may cause delays

As of 8:50 a.m., a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 695 has closed two of three outer loop traffic lanes and a shoulder at Loch Raven Boulevard.

Roadwork is also causing several lane closures in the Baltimore metro area.

Patching and resurfacing nearly four miles of MD 178 from Housley Road and Crownsville Road in Annapolis and Crownsville will prompt single-lane closures and flagging operations between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays for the next several weeks, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration. The closures start this Monday.

One northbound lane and a shoulder are closed for repairs on Interstate 95 near the White Marsh Boulevard exit.

There's also a southbound lane and shoulder closure on MD 86 at Traceys Mill Road in Carroll County. The northbound lane is bidirectional.

The Maryland Transit Administration is reporting that the light rail is still experiencing minor delays as of 8:50 a.m., but the MARC trail, commuter bus and local bus are operating on time.
