A two-vehicle accident on Northern Parkway at the Jones Falls Expressway overpass on Tuesday resulted in one person being transported to a local hospital, but Baltimore City Police said injuries suffered in the wreck were minor.
Police spokeswoman Detective Sergeant Sarah Connolly said that the accident occurred around 9:20 a.m. on westbound Northern Parkway. The wreck continued to back up traffic for more than an hour later, Connolly said.
Spokesman Ian Brennan said around 10 a.m. that fire personnel were on the scene of the accident. A medic transported one person to Sinai Hospital while another medic was still on the scene, Brennan said.
No additional information was given.
