A water main break on the 100 block of West Lafayette Street in Baltimore City on Wednesday has prompted detours in the area, according to the Baltimore City Department of Public Works.

DPW spokesman Kurt Kocher said that the 10-inch break has affected 40 customers and repairs are underway. No additional information was given.

Also in Baltimore City, all southbound traffic on Interstate 895 is closed due to a disabled vehicle in the roadway at 9:32 a.m., according to the state Department of Transportation.

The Maryland Transit Administration reported minor light rail delays and MARC train at 9:45 a.m.
