A collision in Baltimore City on Interstate 95 prior to the Keith Avenue exit has closed the southbound left shoulder at 8:25 a.m. on Thursday, according to the state Department of Transportation.
In Parkville, emergency roadwork on MD 147 South at Putty Hill Avenue has closed the southbound right traffic lane and southbound right shoulder for more than three hours since DOT first reported the incident at 4:18 a.m.
DOT added that two incidents from earlier this week continued to prompt road closures on Thursday.
In Baltimore City, emergency roadwork on I-95 North at the Harbor Tunnel that began on Monday continued to close three northbound right toll lanes, DOT said.
In Harford County, MD 763 is shut down in both directions due to a utility problem at MD 155 that began on Wednesday, DOT said.
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation reported two water main breaks on Thursday morning. A main break on westbound Cold Spring Lane at Falls Road was reported around 6:30 a.m. by Baltimore DOT. The transportation department said that westbound traffic on Cold Spring Lane has been detoured onto Falls Road and eastbound traffic has been detoured onto Grand View Avenue.
The transportation department reported a second main break on northbound Charles Street at Lafayette Avenue at 7:12 a.m.
The Maryland Transportation Authority said that the I-695 Curtis Creek Drawbridge is slated to open on Thursday at approximately 9 a.m.
The Maryland Transit Administration reported at 9 a.m. that due to the water main break at Cold Spring lane it No. 27 and No. 33 bus lines have been diverted.
