Traffic: Collision on I-95 in Baltimore City

A three-vehicle collision in Baltimore City on Interstate 95 North prior to the U.S. 1 Alternate (Caton Avenue) exit closed the northbound left shoulder at 8:55 a.m. on Monday, according to the state Department of Transportation.

An accident with injury in Overlea on the outer loop of I-695 at the U.S. 1 (Belair Road) exit has closed the outer loop right traffic lane and outer loop right shoulder at 8:53 a.m., according to DOT.

Other traffic incidents, including an accident on U.S. 29 in Columbia, have been cleared and the roadways have been reopened, according to DOT.

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation reported around 6:45 a.m. that BGE is repairing a water main break in the two left lanes of Lombard Street from South Street to Calvert Street. Baltimore DOT said that South Street is closed at Lombard Street.

The Maryland Transit Administration reported at 9:03 a.m. that trains and buses are running on schedule.
