Fox 43 meteorologist Jeff Jumper says Friday's commute will start cool and dry and have a mild finish.

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation said on Friday that an accident with injury involving an overturned van on westbound Northern Parkway east of Reisterstown Road at 7:25 a.m. has closed westbound Northern Parkway at Wabash Avenue. Traffic impact is moderate, DOT said.

The Baltimore City Fire department dispatch said that a person who suffered injuries from the accident was transported to Sinai Hospital, but officials did not offer information on the person's condition.

The Maryland Transportation Authority said that on Friday morning traffic patterns on I-95 South are set to be altered at the eastbound and westbound MD 43 exits.

Normally, I-95 South traffic headed to MD 43 exits at 67A and 67B, but on Friday morning eastbound and westbound MD 43 will be converted into a single exit ramp (Exit 67). Traffic off the exit will then be directed to a split for either eastbound or westbound MD 43, MdTA said.

The ramp change is due to reconstruction of the I-95/MD 43 interchange for the I-95 Express Toll Lanes Project, MdTA said.

The transportation authority also said that the I-695 Curtis Creek Drawbridge is scheduled to open on Friday at 9 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

The Maryland Transit Administration reported at 9:15 a.m. that buses and trains were running on schedule.
