A two-vehicle collision in Hanover on MD 713 South at Arundel Way has closed the southbound left traffic lane and southbound left shoulder at 8:53 a.m. Friday, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Baltimore County Police said on Friday morning that portions of York Road in Sparks that had been closed on Thursday night as police investigated a fatal accident have been reopened.

Two people died and another three were seriously injured in a three-car pileup at York Road and Thornton Mill Road in Sparks. York Road had been closed between McCormick Road and Thornton Mill Road as police investigated.

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation said that new traffic patterns will be implemented for Sunday's Ravens home game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

DOT said that a block of Warner Street between Worcester and Bayard streets has been closed for casino construction. Motorists are advised to enter Warner Street by traveling north onto Russell Street and turning right onto Worcester Street.

DOT said that to prevent wrong turns on game day, Haines and Bayard Streets will be blocked at Russell Street so that motorists will utilize Worcester Street.

DOT added that one lane in each direction of Russell Street has been closed to through traffic between M&T Bank Stadium and Bush Street as for the relocation of a gas main associated with the casino project.

The Maryland Transit Administration reported at 9:10 a.m. that trains and buses are running on schedule.
