In Baltimore County, a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 83 North at the MD 943 (Warren Road) exit has closed all three traffic lanes at 8:47 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the state Department of Transportation.
All northbound traffic is moving on one of two northbound shoulders, and DOT officials urged northbound motorists to detour off Falls Road or York Road. The incident has also closed one of two southbound shoulders, DOT said.
A three-vehicle collision in Howard County on Interstate 70 East prior to US 40 has blocked one of two eastbound shoulders at 8:39 a.m., DOT said.
The Maryland Transportation Authority said that the I-695 Curtis Creek Drawbridge is scheduled to open on Tuesday at 9 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. for U.S. Coast Guard traffic.
