With earlier roadway incidents cleared, the state Department of Transportation reported at 9 a.m. on Tuesday that traffic moved without unscheduled road closures.
DOT said that several roadway incidents that had prompted lane closures, including utility work on MD 170 in Anne Arundel County and a water main problem on MD 26 West at Milford Mill Road in Baltimore County, have been cleared though lane disruptions are still possible.
Spokeswoman Kellie Boulware said at 8:24 a.m. that crews will be working today on MD 170 and that drivers should remain alert for flagging operations during the day. She said that all travel lanes are open on MD 26 but water main repair crews will be on site for cleanup.
The Maryland Transit Administration reported at 9 a.m. that buses and trains are running on schedule.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
