Fox 43 meteorologist Andrea Michaels says your Thursday commute will start foggy and muggy, then get hot for the drive home with a chance for storms.
Thursday morning's commute was virtually event free as the state Department of Transportation reported only one incident that blocked traffic lanes from 7 a.m. to 9:12 a.m.
The lone incident was a two-lane closure at the Fort McHenry toll plaza around 8 a.m., due to brief emergency roadwork. The quiet morning came after three incidents on Wednesday, including a traffic fatality, closed down thoroughfares for several hours.
Morning-long delays on the Metro subway and MARC Train continued at 9:12 a.m., according to the Maryland Transit Administration.
