A disabled vehicle in Baltimore City, on Interstate 95 South prior to the US 1/Caton Avenue exit, has closed one of four southbound traffic lanes and one of two southbound shoulders at 8:48 a.m., on Tuesday, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Also, travelers can expect detours and delays on Tuesday as state highway officials conduct scheduled operations on two major roadways throughout the day.

The Maryland Transportation Authority said that on Tuesday the Curtis Creek Drawbridge on Interstate 695 will open to U.S. Coast Guard water traffic during the morning and afternoon and will remain open until water traffic passes.

The drawbridge is slated for openings from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., MdTA said.

The State Highway Administration said on Tuesday that one lane on south bound York Road is temporarily closed while officials repair a service line. SHA said that drivers should use I-83 as an alternate route.

On the railways, the Maryland Transit Administration said on Tuesday morning that the light rail is experiencing delays after the three trains to Penn Station (7:12 a.m., 8:16 a.m. and 9:16 a.m.) had been canceled. MTA reported delays on the light rail and MARC train at 9:10 a.m.
