Two accidents with injury hampered the Monday morning commute, including a crash on US 50 near MD 97/Collingwood Road westbound that has the left lane and left shoulder closed as of 8:32 a.m.
The state Department of Transportation also reported an accident with injury on Interstate 95 at Exit 49 northbound at 8:13 a.m. that closed the left lane and shoulder.
Also reported was an accident on MD 100 where the highway connects to Interstate 97 at Exit 13 A-B, at 8:21 a.m. No injuries or lane closures were reported.
Two incidents on US 1 created stalled traffic: A crash at US 1 southbound on Lansdowne Road closed the left lane at of 6:18 a.m. An incident on US 1 near Sulphur Spring Road southbound closed the right lane and shoulder as of 6:18 a.m.
In other roadway tie-ups, an accident at U.S. 40 on Rogers Avenue westbound at 7:24 a.m. closed the right lane and right shoulder.
An incident at MD 500 at MD 501/Chillum Road southbound closed all lanes as of 7:44 a.m.
A disabled vehicle on US 29 at Exit 18 (Broken Land Parkway) southbound has the right shoulder closed as of 8:24 a.m. An accident on Interstate 895 near Exit 11A (O'Donnell Street/Boston Street) northbound has the right exit ramp closed as of 8:34 a.m.
An accident on MD 10 near Interstate 695 as of 8:35 a.m., has also been reported.
And though MTA reported that all bus and rail services are running on time, the state's transit authority said that as of 5:23 a.m. its MARC Tracker system was not updating all train statuses correctly on its website.
MTA said messages placed on the site will be delayed.
