Man, 22, killed in East Baltimore shooting

1 man shot and killed, another shot and wounded Saturday night in Baltimore

A 22-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday night in East Baltimore shortly after another man was shot multiple times in a separate incident across town, police said.

At around 6:30 p.m. Baltimore police arrived in the 3000 block of Wylie Ave. near the intersection of West Cold Spring Lane and Pimlico Road for a report of a shooting. When they arrived officers found a 36-year-old man who had been shot multiple times in the body. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment, but Northern District police did not provide information about his condition.

About 15 minutes later officers in the Eastern District were dispatched to the intersection of Chase Street and North Patterson Park Avenue for a shooting. When they arrived officers found a 22-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. The man was transported to a nearby hospital but later died there of his injuries.
