Prince George's County police are searching for a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a three-year-old girl in Landover on Sunday.

Police said they have charged Davon Antwan Wallace, 25, of Landover, with first-degree murder in the death of Knijah Amore Bibb, 3, of Washington. Those with information can call 301-772-4925 or Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS. Authorities are offering a reward of up to $25,000.

Two men were fighting and arguing outside of a home in the 6900 block of Forest Terrace on Sunday afternoon before one of the men left and returned with a gun, police said. The suspect fired several times into the home, fatally wounding Knijah, whom police do not believe was the intended target.

The incident in Prince George's follows the death of McKenzie Elliott, 3, fatally shot in a drive-by earlier this month in Baltimore's Waverly neighborhood. In that case, police are questioning a person of interest that is in custody on an unrelated violation of probation warrant, but have not yet charged anyone in McKenzie's killing.

In another recent case, shots were fired into a Glen Burnie home on Friday night, lodging four feet above a sleeping five-year-old child. That child was not injured.
