A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Edgewood, fire officials said Saturday.
Rescue workers responding at 1:03 a.m. to Route 24 between Edgewood and Trimble roads found that a vehicle had hit an adult male who had no identification, the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Co. reported. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A female driver of the vehicle was taken by paramedics to the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air with minor injuries. The road was closed for about three hours for the investigation. Maryland State Police were investigating.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
