The E-ZPass Maryland Stop-in Center at the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore is closing permanently on Dec. 23, the Maryland Transportation Authority announced Wednesday.
The closure is due to low customer traffic volume and the presence of two nearby stop-in centers, MDTA spokesman John Sales said. Four employees will be reassigned to other centers nearby, where customers are being referred:
The Fort McHenry Stop-In Center, 3990 Leland Ave., is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday.
The Harbor Tunnel center, 1200 Frankfurst Ave., has the same hours.
Customers may also visit the MVA Glen Burnie office at 6601 Ritchie Highway NE, which is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
