Baltimore police responded to a pair of separate shootings Friday night, one in Northeast Baltimore that left a man with a severe head injury and another in the Greenspring neighborhood in which detectives were investigating a man found shot in the back.
Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 2000 block of Jubilee Court near Mount Pleasant Park and found a man suffering from a gunshot to the head. The man was transferred to a hospital. Given the severity of the victim's injury, homicides detectives were called to the scene, police spokesman Detective Jeremy Silbert said.
Silbert said police were also investigating an adult male who was shot in the back in the 2500 block of Shirley Ave on Friday. Silbert said police had no additional information on that incident.
