Two men attack group of four, chase one to residence in Middle River

Baltimore County police say a group of four people were attacked by two men in Middle River early Monday morning.

At around 2:20 a.m., two men approached the group in the 600 block of Carrollwood Road, according to a police report. During the encounter, one of the suspects "pistol-whipped" one of the men and chased him to his apartment, according to the police report.

The suspect attempted to break into the residence, but was unable to do so, police said. Both suspects then fled the scene in a dark green vehicle. One of the victims also reported that the suspects took his cellphone, according to the report.

In addition to this incident, other local reports from Baltimore County police include:

Greenback Road, 13100 block, between 11 a.m. Jan. 15 and 6 a.m. Jan. 16. A 10-foot painted brown boat was stolen.

Sandalwood Road, 900 block, at 7:20 p.m. Jan. 18. A pizza delivery person was approached by two men, one of whom implied that he had a handgun. The suspects demanded money and the victim handed over $60 in cash.

64th Street, 1200 block, between 11:40 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Jan. 14. A suspect was arrested after neighbors allegedly observed him attempting to break into a residence and detained him.

Kenwood Road, 4500 block, at 8:20 p.m. Jan. 18. A suspect wearing a black ski mask took a bottle of liquor from a store shelf, pointed a black handgun at a cashier and fled from the store on foot, according to police reports.

Elmwood Avenue, 500 block, between 9:25 a.m. Jan. 15 and 9:25 a.m. Jan. 16. Three males, all between the ages of 15 and 18, reportedly took a silver 2006 Subaru Legacy. Police reports indicate the keys had been left in the vehicle.

Dehavilland Way, 9900 block, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Jan. 16. Credit and debit cards, cash, video game equipment, a driver's license and a wallet were stolen from a residence.

Blackfoot Court, unit block, at 12:40 a.m. Jan. 18. A suspect struck a food delivery person in the head with a stick and took $12 in cash. A juvenile was identified and arrested, according to police reports.

Beech Avenue, 6900 block, between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Jan 16. Someone kicked open the rear door at a residence, went inside and ransacker several rooms. At the time of the report, it was unknown if items were stolen.

Philadelphia Road, 8600 block, between 5:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. Jan. 16. A man was attacked by two other men near an ATM. The suspects knocked the victim to the ground and took $60 in cash. The victim suffered a swollen jaw.
