Four arrested in pharmacy hold-up

Anne Arundel County police arrested four people Monday in connection with the robbery of a drug store in Brooklyn.

According to police, two individuals ran from the entrance of the Medicine Shoppe in the 5500 block of Ritchie Highway as officers arrived around 12:08 p.m. Monday. The suspects tried to get into a waiting vehicle, but officers detained the suspects and two others in the vehicle, police said in a news release.

Police discovered stolen prescription medications, including Oxycontin, and a pellet gun used as a weapon, police said.

Police arrested and charged four people with robbery and other offenses, including Rashad Johnson, 24, Nakia Monique Vass, 31, Keisha Towan Kosh, 39, and Ashley Diona Dunston, 31, all from Baltimore.
