Glen Burnie man dead after gunshot wound to head Thursday

A 53-year-old Glen Burnie man died of a gunshot wound to the head Thursday that police are investigating as a homicide, officials said.

Police found William Collignon, of the 1500 block of Furnace Avenue, dead in his home around 3 p.m.

Homicide investigators questioned another person found in the residence, but no charges have been filed, police said. A preiminary investigation shows the shooting occurred in the house.
