Man dies of gunshot wounds in first Annapolis homicide of 2014

A man died in a shooting in Annapolis early Sunday morning, the city's first homicide of the year, according to police.

Officers were called to the 1100 block of Madison Street for a report of a shooting and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds at a nearby baseball field, according to Annapolis Police. The man died at the scene, police said.
