A Baltimore City man was arrested late last month and charged with two counts of armed robbery for a pair of commercial armed robberies in Towson.

Baltimore County Police said Ryan Kendall Harris, 18, of the 1200 block of Walker Avenue, located just south of the city-county line in Baltimore City, was arrested on Dec. 30 and charged with armed robbery.

According to police reports, Harris entered the Weight Watchers in York Road Plaza at 8:55 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29, showed a blue steel handgun, and stole money from the register.

Police said that five minutes later that same morning, a man wearing a black ski mask displayed a handgun and stole cash from the Starbucks coffee shop.

According to online court records, Harris has been charged with three counts of armed robbery, three counts of first-degree assault, and two counts of use of a handgun in the commission of a felony.

No attorney is listed for Harris in court records.

Police spokeswoman Julia Hardgrove said he was released on $70,000 bail on Jan. 6.
