Baltimore County Public Works announced Thursday that work will begin on or around Monday, April 15 to replace 2,700 feet of water lines on York Road in Towson between the Beltway and Washington Avenue.
The work, which Public Works Spokesman David Fidler said in a statement has been "fast-tracked to reduce inconvenience to the public," will be conducted from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sundays through Thursdays.
While the work is being conducted, there will be lane closures on York Road, though the entire road will not be closed, officials said.
According to the news release, the work will be completed by early fall.
