Towson in the Movies [Pictures]
The recent filming of an independent horror movie in Lutherville, "The Bone Garden," with students and professors from Towson University, is cause for a look back at some of the major motion pictures that have been filmed in and around Towson, or least had Towson in a "guest starring" role. Towson in the Movies( "Dead Man's Curve" / Trimark Pictures, Mount Royal Entertainment / September 19, 2012 )
Director Dan Rosen, of Pikesville, filmed a good bit of his 1998 film, "Dead Man's Curve," (also billed simply as "The Curve") on Towson University, and also at Johns Hopkins University, according to IMDB.com and other sources. According to the Baltimore Sun, Rosen is a TU graduate, and thus was a bit familiar with the Towson campus. The film starred Matthew Lillard, Michael Vartan, Randall Batinkoff and Keri Russell.
