SUV hits Stoneleigh building after two-car crash

Regester Avenue was temporarily closed at York Road in Towson early Wednesday afternoon following a two-car accident in which one vehicle struck a building.

Ofc. Dennis Badham of the Baltimore County Police Department said they received a call of a two-car accident at 12:32 p.m.

One of the vehicles, a black SUV, struck the vacant video store next door to Stoneleigh Bakery, though the vehicle did not enter the store and appeared to only damage the brick exterior.

Baham said there were no major injuries, but one person was transported to the hospital for an unspecified medical issue that may have caused the accident.

Six police cars responded to the scene, police said.
