Police intercept theft of Todd Heap-signed football from Towson residence

A juvenile was arrested this week and charged with first-degree burglary and petty theft for an incident involving the theft of a football autographed by former Ravens player Todd Heap and a replica Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl ring from a residence in Loch Raven Village.

According to a police report, a robber cut through the screen to enter the back porch, then pried open the back door some time between 2 p.m. June 30 and 3:45 p.m. July 3.

Police said that once inside the house, in the 1500 block of Doxbury Avenue, Towson, the robber "ransacked and destroyed" the inside of the home and stole the items.

According to the police report, the missing items were recovered at the juvenile's house.
