Pedestrian hit by car in Towson

A woman was taken to Greater Baltimore Medical Center after a vehicle hit her in the crosswalk at West Chesapeake Avenue and Courtland Avenue in Towson, according to Baltimore County Police.

Police said the call came in for a pedestrian struck at 7:21 a.m. Monday, and the woman, who works in the county 911 center, was being treated for minor injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was not charged with a crime, police said.
