Employee charged with stabbing supervisor in Towson after argument

A 25-year-old Baltimore City man allegedly stabbed a work supervisor multiple times Monday in Towson after a dispute about the employee’s paycheck, according to a Baltimore County police report.
According to the report, Robert Brandon White, 25, of the 3900 block of Yolando Road in Baltimore went to Commerce Energy in the 8600 block of La Salle Road in Towson at 11:50 a.m. Monday to pick up his paycheck.
The supervisor, a 34-year-old man, refused to pay White all of what he was owed because of a previous debt, the report said.
Police said the men argued, then fought, and White allegedly stabbed the supervisor multiple times with a screw driver, police spokeswoman Cpl. Cathy Batton said. During the altercation, the two men fell through a plate glass window at the office, Batton said.
After the altercation, Batton said White left the scene and the man was transported to an area hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
White later returned to the office and was arrested, police said.
White has been charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and destruction of property, according to online court records. Batton said he is being held on $100,000 bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
