Pedestrian struck, killed by vehicle in Towson

Baltimore County Police said a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday morning in the 6800-block of Loch Raven Boulevard near Taylor Avenue.

Miriam Levy, a county police spokeswoman, said police were called at 9:42 a.m. with a report that an adult female had been struck by a Lincoln MKX near the McDonald's on Loch Raven Boulevard.

The Lincoln's driver, an adult male, remained at the scene with the woman, whom Levy said was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have identified the victim from the crash as Beulah Mills, 63, of the 1400 block of East Eager Street, in Baltimore.

The crash remains under investigation.
