Masked men attempt to rob trio of phone in Towson [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

Two men in ski masks attempted to rob three men of a phone on Dec. 13, but failed, police report. According to police, the masked men approached the trio at nearly 3 p.m. at the corner of Dulaney Valley Road and Fairmount Avenue and asked to use a cellphone. The masked men tried to steal phone, but one of the trio grabbed it back and the robbers fled, police report.

Towson

Taylor Avenue, 800 block, at 7:40 p.m. Dec. 19. Man entered Boost Mobile store, pulled handgun, demanded money from clerk. After getting cash, robber fled on foot.

Loch Raven Boulevard, 6800 block, at 7:55 p.m. Dec. 18. Man pulled gun on two women sitting in car in McDonald's parking lot. Man tried to rob them, but women drove away.

East Pennsylvania Avenue, 300 block, between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Dec. 14. Wreath stolen from front door.

York Road, 7900 block, between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Dec. 13. Metal scaffolding stolen from yard.

Lutherville

West Ridgely Road, unit block, at 11:16 a.m. Dec. 18. Man in dark hoodie with handkerchief covering face entered bank, jumped on teller counter and demanded cash. Robber reached into cash drawer and removed money while removing dye pack containing marked bills.

Medlow Court, 100 block, between 6:50 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. Dec. 17. Person entered house through kitchen window; stole cash, jewelry.

Greenspring Drive, 1900 block, at 3:29 a.m. Dec. 16. Glass window at business broken in attempt to gain entry.

Greenspring Drive, 1900 block, between 7:30 a.m. and 7:38 a.m. Dec. 16. Person broke into business, unknown whether anything was taken.

Tenbury Road, unit block, between 3 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Dec. 16. Man posing as water department employee gained entry to house, distracted resident while three other men entered house; stole cash, safe, jewelry, two handguns, other items.

Timonium

Timonium Road, 100 block, between 8 p.m. Dec. 13 and 2 p.m. Dec. 14. Person pried open door, stole two computers, television from law office.
