Man arrested for threatening public official in Towson [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

According to police, a man posting bail for another person threatened a black commissioner at Towson District Court in the 100 block of East Cheapeake Avenue, using racial and sexual slurs. At approximately 4 a.m. on Dec. 12. police arrested Ronny Kareem Mufarrah, 34, of the 11800 block of Stoney Batter Road in Kingsville, and charged him with threatening a public official.


Taylor Avenue, unit block, between Oct. 31 and 9:27 a.m. Dec. 13. Person cut air conditioning line, stole air conditioning unit from business.

Oak Hill Road, 900 block, between 9:30 p.m. Dec 12 and 7:17 a.m. Dec. 13. Person kicked in door of office at Maxalea Inc. No items taken.

East Pennsylvania Avenue, 300 block, between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Dec. 14. Wreath stolen from front door.

North Charles Street, 6100 block, between 9 p.m. Dec. 11 and 5:45 a.m. Dec. 12. Person entered fitness center of Elkridge Club, stole two TVs, toaster oven.

Beaverbank Circle, 900 block, between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. Dec. 10. Person entered home through unlocked back door, stole two cellphones, car keys, electronics. Burglar stole red 2011 Ford Edge, Maryland tag 2AH2739, from driveway.

Robin Hood Circle, 1200 block, between 4:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Dec. 7. Person attempted to pry open door of home. No entry gained.


West Aylesbury Road, unit block, at 11:35 p.m. Dec. 8. Person broke glass door of liquor store; stole cash, liquor.


York Road, 2300 block, between 6:30 p.m. Dec. 10 and 6:30 a.m. Dec. 11. Person removed glass from door of law office, stole 10 laptops, four computer monitors.

West Timonium Road, 100 block, between 8 p.m. Dec. 13 and 2 p.m. Dec. 14. Person pried open front door of law office, stole TV, two computers.


Bosley Avenue, 100 block, between 10:45 a.m. and 2 p.m. Dec. 11. Person broke window to enter house. No items taken.
