Woman robbed of iPhone by two hooded men in Towson [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

An 18-year-old woman walking down Aigburth Road toward Cedar Lane was robbed of her iPhone 4 on Friday by men in hooded sweatshirts, police report. According to police, the woman was walking down the street at about 12:30 a.m., when the men came up alongside her, wrestled the phone from her hands and then fled on foot.


Charlesview Way, 1100 block, between 10 p.m. Nov. 2 and 10:17 a.m. Nov. 3. Person entered apartment through rear sliding door, stole TV, purse.

Charlesview Way, 1100 block, between 3 a.m. and 3:15 a.m. Nov. 1. Two men, one with handgun and other with shotgun, approached man and stole wallet.

Burkshire Road, unit block, at 11:30 p.m. Nov. 1. Person knocked on front door while second person entered house through rear door. Resident told men to leave; both did. Man at door described as white male, 5-feet 7-inches tall weighing 185 pounds, with brown eyes and dark curly hair.

Bridgeman Terrace, 700 block, between 9:20 p.m. Oct. 31 and 1:20 a.m. Nov. 1. Person destroyed sliding glass door, entered apartment, stole jewelry.

York Road, 8000 block, between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 31 and 2 a.m. Nov. 1. Group of five women returned home from bar on Halloween to find house had been burglarized. Thief entered through unlocked bathroom window, stole 54 items including jewelry, backpacks, wallets, computers, shoes, digital camera.

Loch Raven Boulevard and Taylor Avenue, at 7:20 p.m. Oct. 30. Man approached person at bus stop, demanded money. Man hit victim, stole iPhone. Robber described as black male in early 20s, 6-feet 4-inches tall with light complexion.


Beaver Dam Road, 9700 block, at 1:48 a.m. Nov. 4. Two men, one armed with handgun, stole money, lottery tickets, cigarettes and cellphones from 7-Eleven. Robber used pepper spray on employee. First robber is described as a black male aged 20 to 30 years old, 6-feet tall, weighing 200 pounds. Second robber is described as a black male aged 20 to 30 years old, 6-feet tall, weighing 160 pounds.

Greenmeadow Drive, 100 block, between 8:30 p.m. Oct. 28 and 7 a.m. Oct. 29. White and black Yamaha motorcycle, Maryland license plate number 15096Y, stolen from patio.


York Road, 1800 block, at 10:02 a.m. Nov. 2. Woman sprayed another woman with pepper spray, stole purse. Dawn Jackson, 29, of 10700 block of Beaver Dam Road, Cockeysville, arrested and charged with armed robbery.

York Road, 2100 block, at 10:43 p.m. Oct. 27. Two armed men stole cash, cigarettes, lottery tickets from 7-Eleven. First robber is described as a black male between 30 and 40 years old, 5-feet 10-inches tall, with a beard and weighing, 210 pounds. Second robber is described as a black male, 5-feet 10-inches tall with a large build, weighing 200 pounds.

Dulaney Valley Road, 2300 block, at 11:57 a.m. Oct. 23. Employee at Stella Maris caught on camera entering resident's apartment and stealing money. Charges pending for employee.
