Towson area crime log

The following is compiled from local police reports. It is our policy to provide identification when there is enough information to make identification possible.

Towson precinct

Falkirk Road, 6500 block. Oct. 28 at 3 a.m. Two men struck a third man in an apartment with brass knuckles and a sword.

Acorn Circle, Unit block. Oct. 27 at 11:30 p.m. Motorcycle stolen from residence.

Regester Avenue, 1400 block. Oct 27 between 11:42 a.m. and 11:44 a.m. Jewelry stolen from a residence and later recovered in neighbor’s back yard.

Regester Avenue, 1400 block. Oct. 27 between 11:35 a.m. and 11:43 a.m. Back glass door shattered to gain entry to residence. Empty backpack stolen and later recovered in neighbor’s back yard.

Washington Avenue, 400 block. Between Oct. 26 at 10 p.m. and Oct. 27 at 2 a.m. Silver 2007 Infiniti G35 stolen from parking lot of PNC bank.

Susquehanna Avenue, 100 block. Oct. 25 between 1:50 a.m. and 1:55 a.m. Four people attempted to steal a flag from a residence, but left when confronted by homeowner.

Walker Avenue, 700 block. Oct. 25 between 7:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. Residence ransacked after entry gained through back window. Jewelry stolen.

York Road, 800 block. Oct. 24 at 2:46 a.m. Pedestrian walking northbound on York Road near Bosley Avenue was approached by a man who displayed a fake handgun in his waistband and demanded the person give him money. The person said he did not have any money and walked away. Police later arrested the man with the fake weapon.

Castle Drive, 500 block. Oct. 23 between 12:45 p.m. and 12:55 p.m. A man stole a wallet and attempted to steal a cell phone from another man who was walking home.

Colbury Road, 1300 block. Oct. 23 between 6:40 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. A juvenile was robbed of a cell phone while attempting to sell it.

Greenview Terrace, 7700 block. Oct. 22 between 7:05 pm. and 7:14 p.m. Two men followed someone into an apartment, struck the person with a black semiautomatic handgun and stole cash, cell phones, credit/debit cards, jewelry and identification from others in the apartment

York Road, 900 block. Oct. 21 at 2:37 a.m. Two juveniles robbed a McDonald’s on York Road at gunpoint using fake weapons.

Halstead Road, 1100 block. Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. Duffel bag containing cash and a cell phone stolen from someone walking near Halstead Academy.

Sibley Road, 900 block. Between Oct. 20 at 10:30 p.m. and Oct. 21 at 12:30 p.m. An unlocked black Toyota Yaris without hubcaps stolen from residential driveway.

Stevenson Lane, 100 block. Between Oct. 19 at 4:45 p.m. and Oct. 20 at 9:45 a.m. Gray 2002 Dodge Caravan stolen.

Cockeysville precinct

Font Hill Avenue, 400 block. Oct. 26 between 2 a.m. and 11 a.m. Police equipment stolen from off-duty Baltimore City Police officer’s personal vehicle. No firearms or weapons stolen.

Plumbridge Road, 300 block. Oct. 27 between 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. A man impersonating a firefighter entered a residence through an unlocked door. While the resident was distracted, the man stole a bottle of medication from a kitchen table and fled. l

Windy Cliff Place, Unit block. Oct. 26 between 2:07 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Cash stolen from a residence.

Penny Lane, 500 block. Between Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 25 at 10:30 a.m. Cash stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence.

Kidds Schoolhouse Road, 2900 block. Between Sept. 21 at 4 p.m. and Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. Rifle and silver dollars stolen from residence after entry gained through front window.

Fila Way, Unit block. Between Oct. 23 at 4 p.m. and Oct. 24 at 8:15 a.m. Register containing cash stolen from M&J Deli and Catering after entry gained by breaking the front window.

Valleylake Place, Unit block. Oct. 23 between 1:20 p.m. and 1:46 p.m. Lock broken at apartment but residence not entered.

Valleylake Place, Unit block. Oct. 23 between 1:30 p.m. and 1:46 p.m. Purse and bookbag stolen from apartment after entry gained by prying open front door. Apartment ransacked.

Timonium Road, 200 block. Between Oct. 22 at 10 p.m. and Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. Bottle of medication stolen from unlocked vehicle.

Big Falls Road, 17000 block. Between Sept. 23 at noon and Oct. 23 at 12:30 p.m. Lawn equipment stolen from unlocked detached garage.

Treherne Road, 200 block. Oct. 23 between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. House ransacked after entry made through rear window.
